Sidekick Comedy is a monthly gig housed in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village.  We specialize in showcasing semi-pro and pro comics who are different, engaging, progressive and/or spectacular but always funny. 

Tickets are a cheap and cheerful £2 with students admitted free with a valid student card.

We are nested in Via Fossa on Canal Street.  Via Fossa has a reputation for being a friendly place with something for everyone. The gig is downstairs in the venue’s ‘Polari Lounge’–a space with its own bar, lush furnishings, and a grand piano (If Bill Bailey or Zach Galifianakis drops by, we’re ready).  The friendly bar staff serve both drink and the food menu with a smile.

We gig there on the last Monday of every month (with rare exceptions noted).
